Hiring someone else? The fee is 5%
SimpleMoney also runs an open gig board. Clients post work, freelancers apply, and SimpleMoney takes a flat 5% from the freelancer when a job is completed and paid — the same model as Freelancer or Upwork, at a lower rate. Posting a job and applying to one are both free.
Post the job
Describe the work and set a budget. Free, and it appears on the board once approved.
Pick a freelancer
Applicants come to you. Agree the scope and the price directly with the one you want.
Work gets done
You review the delivery. Nothing is charged until you accept the work.
Payout, minus 5%
The freelancer is paid and SimpleMoney keeps a flat 5%. The client pays no platform fee.
